The Basics

A digital copy of your denture, kept on file.

Denture scanning simply means this: a dental nurse scans your denture - not your mouth. It takes minutes, nothing goes near your mouth, and we keep a secure digital copy ready to remake if the denture is ever lost or damaged.

Peace of mind

A secure digital copy of your denture is stored for three years, so a spare is always ready.

Fast, identical replacement

If your denture is lost or broken, we 3D print an exact match and post it to you within five business days.

A fraction of the cost

Replacements are £395 per arch, versus £1,000+ for a brand-new denture made from scratch.

Start to Finish

How it works, simply.

  1. Booking a denture scanning visit by phone
    1

    Get in touch

Call us or request a callback and we'll book a visit at a time that suits you.

  2. A dental nurse scanning a denture at a patient's home
    2

A dental nurse visits and scans at home

A CQC-registered dental nurse comes to your home (or bedside) and scans your denture in minutes, then hands it straight back. Nothing touches your mouth.

  3. A digital denture model stored securely on file
    3

    Your copy is stored securely

Your denture is turned into an encrypted 3D model and held securely on file for three years.

  4. An identical 3D printed replacement denture
    4

Lost or broken? An identical replacement

One phone call is all it takes. We 3D print an exact replica from your stored model and post it out within five business days.

Who it's for
Coming to You

Areas we cover.

There's no clinic to visit. One of our dental nurses comes to you, at home, at a relative's, or in a care home, scans your denture in minutes, and hands it straight back before they leave. We cover five areas across the south of England, and we add more as At Home Dental's rounds expand.

Not on the list?

Tell us your postcode and we'll say honestly whether we can reach you. If we can't yet, we'll add it to the areas we're asked about most, that's how we decide where to go next.

Would like to thank Margi the dentist from at home dental. Came to my home lovely lady very kind explained everything. A week later still got pain from extraction and having revisit to check it but she was very thoughtful and checked up on me by text. Second time I used them both times been very good and would recommend.

Highly recommend. My frail 94 year old mum was having problems with her denture slipping down constantly. Parnia and her lovely team were so kind and patient with mum and after four visits she can now eat and smile with confidence again.

I am absolutely terrified of the dentist but I cannot praise Bob and Kirsty enough. I have been putting off having a tooth removed for 4 years but Bob has taken it out today which was pain free. I have never felt rushed and am over the moon to have finally had this tooth out. The best dentist and dental assistant in my opinion. Would thoroughly recommend this dental practice to everyone I know.

Clear Answers

Frequently asked questions.

What is the Denture Digital Scan Service?
Our Denture Digital Scan Service digitally scans your existing dentures to create a precise 3D record. That scan is securely stored for up to five years, so we can reproduce a replacement denture quickly if yours is ever lost, broken or damaged.
Why would I need my dentures scanned?
Dentures can be misplaced, broken or damaged unexpectedly. Having a digital scan on file means no repeat impressions, no lengthy appointments, faster replacement and less disruption to eating, speaking and daily life. It provides peace of mind, especially for patients who rely on their dentures every day.
How long is my scan stored for?
Your digital denture scan is securely stored for five years from the date it is taken. You may be contacted before the end of this period to discuss renewal if you wish to continue the service.
Is the scan data safe and confidential?
Yes. All digital scans are stored securely, handled in line with UK data protection regulations, and accessed only by authorised dental professionals. Your data will never be shared without your consent.
