Mobile denture scanning
Never lose a denture again.
TDS scans your dentures and safely stores a digital copy for three years. If they're ever lost or broken, we 3D print an identical replacement and post it to you - no new appointments, no fresh impressions.
From £99
The basics
A digital copy of your denture, kept on file.
Denture scanning simply means this: a clinician scans your denture - not your mouth. It takes minutes, nothing goes near your mouth, and we keep a secure digital copy ready to remake if the denture is ever lost or damaged.
Peace of mind
A secure digital copy of your denture is stored for three years, so a spare is always ready.
Fast, identical replacement
If your denture is lost or broken, we 3D print an exact match and post it to you within five business days.
A fraction of the cost
Replacements are £395 per arch, versus £1,000+ for a brand-new denture made from scratch.

Backed by At Home Dental
Seven years of care, delivered to your door.
TDS is part of At Home Dental, a domiciliary dental provider for seven years, serving thousands of care homes across the south. The idea for TDS came from a care home show, where the same problem kept coming up: lost and broken dentures, and no quick way to replace them. So we built a service to solve exactly that.

- Transparent, published pricing so there are no surprises before you enquire

Good to know
Frequently asked questions.
- What is denture scanning / the Digital Scan Service?
- We digitally scan your existing denture to create a precise 3D record. That copy is stored securely for three years, so we can quickly reproduce a replacement if yours is ever lost, broken or damaged.
- Why would I need my dentures scanned?
- Dentures can be lost, broken or damaged unexpectedly. Having a scan on file means no repeat impressions, no lengthy appointments, faster replacement and less disruption to eating, speaking and daily life - real peace of mind if you rely on your dentures every day.
- Does the scan involve scanning my mouth?
- No. We scan your existing denture, not your mouth. Nothing touches your mouth, so it's simple and comfortable - including for anyone who finds traditional dental procedures difficult.
- How is the scan taken?
- A qualified, CQC-registered clinician uses a digital scanner to create a 3D model of your denture. It's scanned outside the mouth, so the process is non-invasive and pain-free, and takes just minutes.
- How long is my scan stored for?
- Your scan is stored securely for three years from the date it's taken. We may contact you before then to discuss renewal if you'd like to continue the service.
- Is my scan data safe and confidential?
- Yes. All scans are stored securely, handled in line with UK data protection rules, and accessed only by authorised dental professionals. Your data is never shared without your consent.
- What happens if I lose or break my dentures?
- Just contact us. We retrieve your stored scan, produce an identical replica from it, and post your replacement out within five business days - with no new impressions or extra appointments.
- How accurate is the replacement denture?
- It's produced from your original scan, so it's a highly accurate replica in shape, fit and appearance. Please note that natural changes to the mouth over time may affect fit, and occasional adjustments may be needed.
- Does the service include free replacement dentures?
- No. The fee covers the scan and secure storage. If you need a replacement denture it's charged separately, and we'll always tell you the cost in advance.
- How much does it cost?
- The scan-and-store fee covers your scan appointment and secure storage. Replacements are priced per arch. See the pricing section above, or we'll confirm your exact fee when you enquire.
- How do I book?
- You can call our team, request a callback, or ask your clinician at your next visit.
- Is this service suitable for everyone?
- It suits most denture wearers - especially anyone who relies on dentures daily, has mobility or access challenges, or simply wants reassurance against loss or damage. Our team will confirm suitability at your appointment.
- Can I still have my dentures repaired elsewhere?
- Yes. This service doesn't restrict you from using other dental services - it's simply a fast, reliable backup if you ever need a replacement urgently.
